This is a new series of images that comes from ideas, observations and discussions about the new [and evolving] realities. Being and becoming in the new millennium. An admittedly "darker" picture than some people would like to admit. But the signs are out there. I plan on publishing these in book form when the series is complete (sometime next year) and I will be printing these on 20 X 30 aluminum sheets backed with float hangers so they do not need matted or framed.

STEP 1: This is the end result of the first step in the process: create a background - starting with a solid color then add shapes selected from photographs in my portfolio. Layer and rotate them to create new shapes. Then add highlights where needed and add more layers for texture.

Step 2: From my pre-existing list of truisms I select the one, I feel, best fits the background. Voila!

This is the proposed book cover for this millennium series once it is ready to be published. This will be the 3rd book in my "visual glossolalia" series. Visual glossolalia is how I describe my digital work. It is part digital collage, part photography and usually includes text within the image to create a sort of visual babelogue.
