Most people would consider pixelation in photograghy as just plain bad photography.  But I am fascinated by it.    This glitchy approach to creating images is the impressionism of the digital age.   I was first inspired by artist Gerhard Richter's color blocks series of artworks.   I have also been fascinated by news interviews where the subjects identity is being protected by blurring and pixelating their face or entire image.   And I thought what If I use that as a jumping off point for my own images. So here are 4 images in a new series titled d434t0l 95yl42 #'s 1-4.   These images were created by combining 2 or more pixelated photographs with various pixel sizes.   I hope you enjoy them.
